زمینه: شواهد ضد و نقیضی پیرامون نقش آدیپونکتین در بیماری‌های قلبی - عروقی وجود دارد و نقش ویسفاتین نیز در پاتوژنز بیماری‌های عروق کرونر مطرح شده است.

مواد و روش‌ها: تعداد 378 زن یائسه از 13 خوشۀ بندر بوشهر به صورت تصادفی انتخاب شدند. شیوع ایسکمی قلبی براساس سیستم کدگذاری مینوسوتا با بکارگیری نوار قلب در حالت استراحت با 12  لید انجام گرفت. سطوح سرمی آدیپونکتین و ویسفاتین توسط روش الیزا مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند.

یافته‌ها: تعداد 159 نفر (8/41 درصد) دچار بیماری ایسکمی قلبی بودند. تفاوتی میان زنان با بیماری ایسکمی قلبی با زنان یائسه طبیعی، در سطح سرمی آدیپونکتین، یافت نشد؛ اما زنان دچار بیماری ایسکمی قلبی غیر دیابتی در مقایسه با زنان یائسه غیر دیابتی دارای سطح بالاتری از ویسفاتین بودند (میانگین هندسی 84/1± 05/3 نانوگرم در میلی‌لیتر در مقایسه با 90/1±52/2 نانوگرم در میلی‌لیتر؛ 023/0=P). در آنالیز رگرسیون لجستیک چندگانه، سطوح بالاتر ویسفاتین، با شیوع بالاتر بیماری ایسکمی قلبی در زنان یائسه غیر دیابتی، پس از تعدیل سن، عوامل خطرساز قلبی - عروقی و hs-CRP، همبستگی معنی‌داری از خود نشان دادند (027/0=P و 68/9-14/1:CI و 26/3=OR).

نتیجه‌گیری: آدیپونکتین در زنان یائسه، با بیماری‌ ایسکمی قلبی همبستگی ندارد ولی سطح سرمی ویسفاتین به صورت مستقل از عوامل خطر ساز قلبی عروقی، با بیماری ایسکمی قلبی در زنان یائسه غیر دیابتی، همبستگی دارد.
