fa شیوع و روند بدخیمی‌های پوست در شهر بوشهر: یک مطالعه گذشته‌نگر ده ساله Prevalence and Trends of Skin Cancer in Bushehr City: A Ten-Year Retrospective Study خون و سرطان Blood and cancer پژوهشي Original <div style="text-align: justify;">زمینه: بدخیمی‌های پوست یکی از شایع‌ترین انواع سرطان‌ها در دنیا هستند و میزان بروز و همچنین مرگ‌ومیر ناشی از آن‌ها رو به افزایش است. از آنجا که اولین قدم برای پیشگیری و درمان سرطان‌ها، اطلاع از بروز و روند تغییرات بیماری است؛ با توجه به عدم وجود مطالعه اختصاصی در شهر بوشهر، این مطالعه با هدف بررسی شیوع بدخیمی‌های پوست در بازه ده ساله در شهر بوشهر انجام شد. مواد و روش‌ها: گزارش‌های پاتولوژی بیماران مبتلا به سرطان‌های پوست طی سال‌های 1391 تا 1400 در شهر بوشهر جمع‌آوری و اطلاعات مربوط به سن، جنس، نوع ضایعه و محل ضایعه در SPSS ویرایش 26 کدگذاری و فراوانی محاسبه گردید. یافته‌ها: در مجموع 259 مورد بدخیمی پوست ثبت شد که میانگین سنی مبتلایان 63/38 بوده و میزان ابتلا در زنان با نسبت 1/1 بیشتر از آقایان بود. شایع‌ترین نوع ضایعه، کارسینوم سلول بازال و پس از آن به‌ترتیب کارسینوم سلول سنگفرشی، ملانوم بدخیم و کارسینوم بازواسکواموس بود. بیشترین محل تظاهر در صورت و پس از آن پوست سر، دست و کمر بود. بیشترین محل درگیر به تفکیک انواع ضایعه صورت بود. نتیجه‌گیری: شیوع بدخیمی‌های پوست در شهر بوشهر روند افزایشی داشته است. بنابراین پیشنهاد می‌شود برنامه‌ریزی جهت شناسایی، کنترل و پیشگیری از سرطان‌های پوستی به‌عنوان یک اولویت در ارتقای سطح سلامت جامعه انجام شود.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;">Background: Skin cancer is one of the most common malignancies worldwide, with increasing incidence and mortality rate. Knowledge of its epidemiological patterns is essential for prevention and control. Due to the limited evidence available in Bushehr city, this study aimed to investigate the prevalence and distribution of skin cancers over a ten-year period in this region. Materials and Methods: Pathology reports of patients diagnosed with skin cancers in Bushehr from 2012 to 2021 were reviewed. Data on age, sex, histological type, and anatomical site of the lesions were extracted and analyzed using SPSS to determine frequency distributions. Results: A total of 259 cases of skin cancer were identified, with a mean patient age of 63.38 years. Women were affected 1.1 times more frequently than men. Basal cell carcinoma was the most common malignancy, followed by squamous cell carcinoma, malignant melanoma, and basosquamous carcinoma. The face was the most frequently involved site, followed by the scalp, hands, and back. Across all histological types, the face remained the predominant site of involvement. Conclusion: The findings indicate a rising trend in the prevalence of skin cancers in Bushehr over the past decade. Given the predominance of facial lesions and the high frequency of basal cell carcinoma, public health interventions should prioritize early detection, community education, and preventive strategies such as sun protection.
