زمینه: گالیک اسید (GA) یک ترکیب پلی‌فنولی است که دارای فعالیت آنتی‌اکسیدانی، ضدمیکروبی و گیرنده رادیکال‌های آزاد است و برای محافظت بدن در برابر سرطان و بیماری‌های قلبی- عروقی مورد استفاده قرار می‌گیرد. اندازه‌گیری کمی غلظت گالیک اسید در غذاها، گیاهان دارویی و نیز سیالات بدن از اهمیت بسیار بالایی برخوردار است.
مواد و روش‌ها: در این مطالعه نانوصفحات دی اکسید منگنز با احیای پتاسیم پرمنگنات در حضور صمغ عربی ساخته شدند. از نانوصفحات MnO2 برای اکسیداسیون سریع دوپامین و تولید نانوذرات پلی‌دوپامین فلورسانس کننده استفاده شد. گالیک اسید این توانایی را دارد تا نانوصفحات MnO2را به یون‌های Mn2+ کاهش دهد و در نتیجه مقدار MnO2 مورد نیاز برای تشکیل نانوذرات پلی دوپامین کاهش می‌یابد و شدت سیگنال فلورسانس کاهش می‌یابد.
یافته‌ها: غلطت گالیک اسید متناسب با کاهش شدت سیگنال فلورسانس نانوذرات پلی‌دوپامین است. اثر پارامترهای مختلف از قبیل pH، زمان و طول موج برانگیختگی در حسگر طراحی شده ارزیابی شد. تحت شرایط بهینه، رابطه خطی خوبی بین مقادیر کاهش شدت سیگنال فلورسانس (F0-F) و غلظت گالیک اسید در محدوده 1 تا 100 میکرومولار مشاهده شد و مقدار حد تشخیص 5/0 میکرومولار به دست آمد. علاوه بر این، حسگر طراحی شده دارای انتخابگری خوب نسبت به گالیک اسید است.
نتیجه‌گیری: بنابراین، حسگر فلورسانس طراحی شده بر اساس نانوذرات پلی‌دوپامین با حساسیت و انتخابگری مناسب برای اندازه‌گیری گالیک اسید در نمونه‌های حقیقی مورد استفاده قرار گرفت.
