To evaluate the efficacy of naproxen, ibuprofen and mefenamic acid in the treatment of primary dysmenorrheal, 120 girls were randomized to four groups (three as treatment groups and the other as placebo). The pain intensity was recorded using self visual analogue scale in 0, 1, 2, 4 and 6 hours after treatment.
